UC 157 Asparagus F1

Hybrid developed at the University of California. It is the most planted in the world. Hybrid grown for both white and green production.

FEATURES:

• PLANT: Vigorous, rustic, very good top quality and high productivity. Tall, open plants with very high yield potential due to their tolerance to foliar and soil problems.
• TURION: Green with a compact head and high quality due to its closed tip. It has little purple coloration that distinguishes it from other materials. Although it can be harvested throughout the year, the best quality product is obtained between April and December. Harvests under summer conditions or in warm areas increase open and flowery shoots.
• TOLERANCES: Rust (Puccinia asparragi), Fusarium (Fusarium Oxysporum). Free of Latent Virus 2 of asparagus.
